Lady bug Cake!
My Friend, Trent's Little girl turned 10 years old and she absolutely adored lady bugs. I didn't know how to incorporate them, until I thought of girl colors that would go well with lady bugs. Pink is always a good choice for a little girl and then I went to work. They were really fun to make, but a little time consuming...especially all the dots, but overall turned out how I wanted it too. She was so excited when she saw the cake and I am glad I learned how to make these cute little bugs for her, so fun!!

Mateo's blessing cake
Our good friends, Ryan and Triana just blessed there little boy today. I made a special cake just for the occasion. We kept it simple we all know most boys are like that. I did a chocolate cake with chocolate filling.
We started with plain white fondant and layered cake/fillings and added ribbons
Next we added lettering to front
Final step was the bow on top!
Liliana's Birthday cake
My good friend's little girl Lilly turned 1 and I was lucky enough to make her cake. It was fun to create a cake for such a cute little munchkin. We did a pastel purple/pink/white cake and lots of flowers as accents. It was a vanilla cake with a buttercream filling and icing. Here are some pics:

It's Jimmer Time!
I know everyone is thinking no Becca, Jimmer time is past, but no it is just beginning. He was truly a legend at BYU and has a big future. I think a lot of people became "Jimmerized" this season, including my husband. The one thing Adam wanted for his birthday was a jimmer cake, he just kept talking about it. His birthday came closer and closer and we both realized we were going to be in Europe for his actual birthday. I said I was sorry for not being able to make him the Jimmer cake as promised and for the first time I lied amazingly well:) I mean I couldn't break his heart like that...He wanted one so I made it happen!! I made it the day before we left, I actually ended up making two of them that day and it helped with the surprise. I told Adam I was making a cake for my friend Alanna's son, Nick and she would meet me at Adam's game later that night to get it. Well I woke up early and made her cake and then met her without him knowing, then I busted out another cake and was finishing it up when he got home. I was so sad by the end of the day, but man was it worth it! He was sad thinking someone else would have a Jimmer cake, but I knew he would love the surprise! Both cakes looked the same, but different in taste.
This was Alanna's son-Nick's cake:
Vanilla with buttercream frosting
Adam's Cake: Chocolate with mousse filling
